Wildfires threaten the city of Soledad, California burning through 6,400 acres just east of the town.

According to CAL FIRE Cpt. James Dellamonica, the Gloria Fire in Soledad was caused by agricultural fireworks, a type of sparkler used to scare birds and ground squirrels.
